HGC has a contract with the City of Cornwall to collect leaf and yard waste in both spring and fall. With concerns that the landfill is filling and trying to divert materials to proper channels the city expanded the collection this year adding in collections weeks during the summer. The residents were quite pleased with the additional collection weeks and hope this continues next year as well.
